Visiting Your Camper at Southwoods
2025 Visiting Days
July 5 & July 26
Campers who are staying five or seven weeks are welcome to have their parents come and see them on Visiting Day. Parent’s can sign their child out to go explore off-camp, or take a tour of Southwoods and stay on-camp. Visiting hours are 11:00am-3:00pm. All campers MUST be signed back in by 3:00pm.
If you are unable to make it to Visiting Day, but have a five or seven week camper, you are welcome to schedule a call instead. Scheduled calls will be done through our office. Our sign-up link will go out 7 days prior to scheduled phone call.
If you are unable to come on visiting day, don’t fret. We think the best part of Southwoods is our location in the heart of the Adirondacks. However, for many families, it’s not an easy day trip. Our campers don’t expect visits and have a great time on the transitional days doing special activities that only they get to do.
